I moved to Savannah ten years ago and the city captured my heart from day one. My first taste as a tour guide began with visits from friends and family members. The more I saw in Savannah, the more I wanted to learn. I began going to the house museums, devouring books about Savannah, and attending events that could only be described as uniquely Savannahian. After years of looking for the right career, I decided to take the plunge and take the city’s history test for tour guides. After scoring extremely well, I was overwhelmed with options and worked for a couple of the more popular tour companies in the city. As I gave these tours, I kept thinking the visitors were missing so much as we went on the prearranged routes. So I decided to branch out on my own and to start a tour company that focuses on excellent customer service and providing the highest quality tour that fits the client’s interests. I pride myself on my customer service and extensive knowledge of the city that is based on historic research. After reading a text or hearing a story from another tour guide I have been known to venture down to the Georgia Historical Society to find out what really happened. I want to make sure I am providing you with the most accurate information and stories. Savannah is a walking city and can only be properly seen that way. I look forward to strolling through the “Hostess City of the South” and letting you experience our hospitality.
